Donald Trump’s Remarkable Governing Record Will Live for All Eternity

Even before Donald Trump took office in 2016, Democrats were doing their best to slander and smear the 45th president – desperately hoping that they could bring his administration down. But those attacks got even worse once Trump had a chance to get settled into the White House and to demonstrate his extraordinary governing chops.
Now, more than two years since the stolen 2020 election, Democrats are hoping that voters will forget just how remarkable Trump’s governing record actually was – and why electing him again should be our top national priority.

One reason voters find Trump so refreshing is his candor about his intentions – and then, his follow through. Unlike so many politicians that are willing to make extravagant promises to different groups to win their support at election time – and then renege once they’re elected – Trump delivers on his promises – all of them.
You may not like everything that Trump promises, but rest assured: If he says he’s going to do something, he will.

This became crystal clear during his very first year in office.

Trump promised to reform the tax code. Then, in short order, he did just that. Next, he promised to get Congress to pass big tax cuts to stimulate the economy. He did that, too.
Finally, Trump promised to undue burdensome regulations in several critical industries – above all, to unleash domestic fossil fuel production to increase American energy independence.

The new president followed through on this promise, too.
What were the results of Trump’s action? A galloping economy, positive GDP growth, steady job creation, record-low inflation and a continuous rise in real wages for America’s workers – in fact, the highest real wage increases for workers in years.
And domestic fuel production skyrocketed.

The new president was just getting started, though. Another signature Trump issue was controlling the US-Mexico border. Illegal immigrants were threatening a full-scale invasion. Trump promised to build “The Wall” to keep them out and to protect our citizens. And he proceeded to do just that.
But, of course, Democrats cried “racism” and did their best to block him.

Nevertheless, illegal border crossings began declining – rapidly. Just as Trump predicted, the mere threat of a serious border crackdown had the desired effect. Would-be criminals didn’t even bother to press their luck.

Trump took the same get-tough law-and-order approach to crime in our nation’s cities. At a time when protesters and militants were running amok, fueling attacks on law enforcement officers, Trump called for more funding, not less, for our brave peace officers, winning the public endorsement of the nation’s largest police union.
These were remarkable accomplishments, but for many of us Christians, Trump’s record on life issues will always stand out brightly.
The president stood up to Planned Parenthood and slashed their funding. He forced HHS to show transparency in its support for abortions He ended “live” abortions – with the stroke of a pen. He also became the first president in US history to speak at the Right to Life rally in the heart of the nation’s capital.

Most amazingly, though, Trump went to the mat for two US Supreme Court nominees – Brett Kavanaugh and Amy Conan Barrtett, to shift the balance of the court – and the entire country – away from “Constitutional” support for abortion.
That’s right, we can thank Donald Trump for ending Roe v. Wade. With the new conservative majority, “life,” not legalized murder, has become the moral standard for all future debate over abortion, the controversial issue that has divided our country like no other for the past half century.
Naturally, Democrats have done everything possible to attack Trump’s remarkable domestic track record – and to smear him personally – with Fake News and deliberately manufactured propaganda (the so-called Steele dossier) alleging as non-existent Trump collusion with Putin in Russia and his “masterminding” of the January 6th riots at the US Capitol.

Should Christians be surprised? Hardly. Jesus was slandered from the very moment he entered public life and stood up to the political and religious establishment of His time.
Jewish leaders, like many Republicans today, were jealous of his ability to command large audiences and sway the doubters to have more faith. Crowds followed Trump everywhere and sought to be healed – spiritually and emotionally – from the toxic influence of political correctness and from tired and ineffective “bipartisan” policies on everything from crime to immigration to trade policy.

When Trump not only promised change but began to deliver, the establishment closed ranks.
A fascinating and highly revealing 2021 article written by Molly Ball, a long-time left-wing investigative journalist, entitled “How a Shadow Campaign Saved the 2020 Election,” reveals just how far the conspiracy against Trump went.

Starting in 2019, alarmed at the near-certain likelihood of Trump’s election, major U.S. corporations, operating in collusion with senior Democratic operatives, began moving money to mainstream media organizations to launch a non-stop propaganda war against the 45th president. They also pushed for changes in state laws across the country to ensure that more Democratic voters could vote more easily for Democrats – and against Trump.

It was the beginning of the Historic Election Fraud of November 2020. And sadly, as we now know, it worked.
But today, more than two years later, more and more voters are seeing through the ruse. They know that Biden is far from leigitmate. And even among many Democrats, “buyer’s remorse” has set in.

Americans want their country back. They want an end to bad trade deals and a global order stacked against America. They want China brought to heel. They want a prosperous economy and a Southern border that isn’t a gateway to the worst human invasion in our modern history.
Biden has spent most of his administration attempting to undue Trump’s policies all the while “weaponizing” the Justice Department to try to keep Trump from running again in 2024. Sadly, some voters, including some former Trump supporters, have turned against their former standard-bearer and want to forget his remarkable legacy.
But Trump’s record cannot be denied. Like Jesus, you can smear and crucify a prophet but the memory and power of his example will endure. In 2o24, Trump may get a second chance to build on his powerful legacy – if not, a fellow Republican might well do so. Either way, Trump’s sacrifice and service to a grateful nation will never be forgotten.
